After deciding to purchase a property in France, we researched different areas and found the Limousin region offered excellent value for money and unspoilt rural landscapes, whilst having good transport links to the UK.

Using the internet, the next step was to contact several agents within this area, Limousin Property Shop being one of them. We emailed our exact requirements and budget to several agents, and we had an email back the same day from Elizabeth Nixon from Limousin Property Shop with details and photographs of just one property, which she said ticked all our boxes and which she thought would be ‘perfect’ for us. We did look at 5 other properties, some of which we dared not even go into, quite an eye-opener and none came close to the first, and some were far from what we had specified. We were so taken by the property Elizabeth showed us that we phoned her and arranged a second viewing. We really took our time and loads of photos and later that day, phoned Elizabeth with an offer. We struck a deal and are now proud owners of our first French property.

Elizabeth talked us through the whole process so we knew exactly what was going to happen and we felt reassured that she was always on the end of the phone or easily contactable via email, should we need her. She gave us lots of good advice, various contacts , which have been invaluable, and put up with our constant barrage of questions!! We would like to thank Elizabeth for her friendly welcome and utmost professionalism. We have bought several properties over the years in England and Spain and to date , Elizabeth Nixon has been the most keen and professional agent we have had the pleasure of dealing with.
